Jatiya Press Club suspends its activities, services from tomorrow

Jatiya Press Club is going to suspend all activities and services of the club from March 21 to 31 to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The decision was taken this morning at an emergency meeting of the club managing committee, considering the safety of the club members and its staffers, Mainul Alam, joint secretary of the club told The Daily Star.

The authority of the club expressed sorrow for the inconvenience caused saying that it will resume its activities after normalcy returns in the country.

The club authority also sought cooperation of the concerned people in this regard.
