JS budget session to begin June 11

The Jatiya Sangsad will go into its budget session on June 11.  

President Abdul Hamid conveyed the budget session today exercising the power bestowed upon him as per clause (1) of article 72 of the constitution, said a press release of Jatiya Sangsad secretariat.

The national budget for 2019-20 fiscal will be placed in the House on June 13 and Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal will place it in the parliament, the release said.

This will be the third session of the 11th parliament and first budget of the Awami League government formed through the December 30 national election.

The first session the 11th parliament began on January 30.
