KL to recruit 5 lakh Bangladeshis in 6 months

The expatriate welfare and overseas employment ministry has said that Malaysia announced to recruit 500,000 workers from Bangladesh in the next six months of 2015.

The recruitment will take place under the new Business-to Business (B-B) mechanism, the ministry said in a press release this evening.  

Malaysian Home Minister Dato' Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi made the announcement during a bilateral meeting with Expatriate Welfare Minister Khandker Moshararraf Hossain in Putrajaya today, according to the press release.

The Malaysian minister said they would welcome the legal workers and the application for employment will be received online.
