Law minister to attend UN meeting in Geneva July 30-31

Law Minister Anisul Huq today left Dhaka to attend the review meeting of the United Nations Convention Against Torture (UNCAT) to be held at Geneva, capital of Switzerland, on July 30 and 31. 

The law minister will place an anti-torture report on behalf of Bangladesh for the first time before the review committee of the UNCAT.

The meeting will review the anti-torture report of Bangladesh, a Law Ministry press release said.
