Five lawyers of condemned war criminal Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed will meet him at Dhaka Central Jail tomorrow "to discuss the recently released full verdict and the ground of the review".

The lawyers are scheduled to meet the Jamaat-e-Islami leader around 10:30am tomorrow, according to a text message sent by Shishir Manir, one of the lawyers of Mojaheed, today.

The other lawyers are: Nazrul Islam, Moshiul Alam, Motiur Rahman Akand and Gazi MH Tamim.

They will meet their client "to discuss the recently released full verdict and the ground of the review" the message mentioned.

It will be the first meeting of the lawyers and Mojaheed since the Supreme Court released its full verdict upholding death penalty for Mojaheed on September 30.

Meanwhile, defence lawyers for another condemned war criminal Salauddin Quader Chowdhury planned to meet him at Kashimpur Jail-1 in Gazipur in few days.

"We will apply to the jail authorities tomorrow for permission to meet him (Salauddin). After getting permission, at least three lawyers will meet the BNP leader at jail," Huzzataul Islam, a lawyer for Salauddin, told The Daily Star.

He said Salauddin Quader Chowdhury has received a copy of the SC judgment and he is expected to instruct the lawyers about moving a petition seeking review of its verdict after going through the full judgment.

On October 1, 2013, International Crimes Tribuanl-1 sentenced Salauddin, a former BNP lawmaker, to death for his crimes against humanity and genocide during the country's Liberation War in 1971.

On the other hand, International Crimes Tribunal-2 on July 17, 2013, found Mojaheed, secretary general of the Jamaat-e-Islami, guilty of five out of seven charges brought against him.

The tribunal sentenced him to death on three charges, jailed him for life on one and sentenced him to five years in prison on another charge.
