Malaysian pvt agencies to bear manpower recruitment cost
Malaysian employers will bear all the expenditures while recruiting manpower from Bangladesh, Expatriates' Welfare Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said today.
Manpower recruitment cost including plane fares through private agencies will not exceed Tk 40,000, the minister said adding that the recruitment process will start after Eid.
The private recruiting agencies would not be able to ask for any additional charges from the jobseekers, he said.
The minister also said that, a private organisation of Japan will train 500 Bangladeshi nationals with salary under its Technical Intern Training Program in three years.
Earlier, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Bangladesh and International Manpower Development Organisation of Japan (IM Jalapan) at Probashi Kallyan Bhaban in Dhaka.
The deal was signed in the presence of Minister Khandakar Mosharraf and the Executive Charman of IM Japan Kyoei Yanagifaway around 11:00am.
The trained men will come back to Bangladesh after the end of the training, the minister added.
Japanese language skill was made mandatory and minimum educational qualification for the eligible candidates is Secondary School Certificate (SSC).
More people will be taken gradually, the minister added.
