Munshiganj BCL president arrested

Police arrested Bangladesh Chhatra League president of Munshiganj unit last night in a case filed on charge of assaulting a woman and looting her house.

Faisal Mridha, 28, one of the six accused of the case, was arrested from the Bazar area of the town, Gazi Salauddin, officer-in-charge (Investigation) of Sadar Police Station, told our local correspondent.

The case was filed by one Rehana Begum accusing them of looting money and gold ornaments after beating her at her own home at Torki village in Munshiganj Sadar upazila on last Thursday, he added.
