No foreign help needed to protect minority: Minister
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu today said Bangladesh does not need assistance of any foreign country or government to protect the minority community.
He said the attacks on the minority community are part of the conspiracy going on in the country. "It is being done to embarrass the government."

The communal harmony has not been dented by these incidents, he said while speaking to reporters at his office this afternoon, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.
Recently, a news of India's state-run Press Trust of India said that the religious minorities of Bangladesh sought the attention of Narendra Modi to protect them.

Inu's comments on the security of the minority community came when he was inquired in this regard.
Currently, Bangladesh is reeling from a spate of covert killings – specially targeted on the religious minority community of the country.
