Paltan building fire under control

The fire that broke out at a multistoried building in Paltan area of Dhaka today was brought under control after around half an hour.

Primary reports said the fire originated on the fourth floor of 10-storied building of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation around 1:30pm, fire service sources said.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze around 2:00pm, said Mahmudul Haque, a duty officer of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters.
