The ruling Awami League-backed panel bagged the Bangladesh Bar Council elections in a landslide victory over the BNP-Jamaat panel.
Sammilito Ainjibi Samannoy Parishad (SASP) secured 10 of the 14 executive member posts, leaving the rest for Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Oikya Panel (JAOP).
The winning candidates are: Abdul Baset Mazumder, M Amirul Islam, Abdul Matin Khasru, ZI Khan Panna, Nazubullah Hiru, HR Zahid Anwar, Ibrahim Hossain Chowdhury Babul, Parvez Alom Khan, Md Yahia and Md Rezaul Karim Mantu.
The polls were held yesterday.

BNP leader Khandakar Mahbub Hossain, the current vice chairman of the bar council, AJ Mohammad Ali, AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon and Kayemul Hoque secured the four other seats.
Abdul Baset Mazumder declared the unofficial results collected by the bar council from different polling centres at different bar councils across the country.
The bar council authorities will officially announce the results after a few days, Nazmul Ahsan, assistant director of the council told The Daily Star today.
The newly elected 14-member executive body will elect the vice-chairman of the bar council in their first meeting.
Abdul Baset Mazumder and M Amirul Islam are said to be the hot-favourites for the post.
The attorney general is the chairman of the council.
