Rangpur journo killed, body dumped beside highway

A journalist of a local daily was found dead on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Rangpur city today.

Police recovered the body of Utso Rahman, 30, staff reporter of daily Juger Alo around 8:00am after obtaining information from locals, reports our local correspondent.

There was an injury mark on the head, Abdul Kader Jilani, officer-in-charge of Rangpur Sadar Police Station told The Daily Star.

Utso went out of his newspaper office around 9:30pm yesterday and was missing since.

The body was sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
