Road accident kills 3 in Kishoreganj

A motorcyclist and two pillion riders died after a truck hit the two-wheeler in Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj this afternoon.  

The accident took place on Kishoreganj-Bhairab road around 2:00pm, Bajitpur police OC Khalilur Rahman Patwari told The Daily Star.

The victims, aged between 18 and 20, could not be identified immediately, he said.

"A Kishoreganj-bound truck hit the motorbike from behind leaving the three dead on spot," he said quoting locals. "Police rushed to the scene on information and recovered the bodies. The truck was seized but the driver managed to flee."
