The arrest of the culprits responsible for the killing of Shohagi Jahan Tonu will take some time, police said today.

"As the murder incident did not take place in broad daylight, it will take some time to collect direct and indirect evidence against any particular person," mentioned in a media release issued by police headquarters.

"Accused of such clueless cases are identified through collecting evidence on the basis of materialistic testimony, contextual testimony and gathering testimonies through scientific process," the release reads.

Saying that police have respect towards the demands of the protesters, the media release said, "There is no need of movement or protest for the arrest of murderers…This is the occupational and moral duty of the police."
