Traffic constable crushed under train in Dhaka

A traffic constable was crushed under the wheels of a train in Banani area of Dhaka this evening.

The victim Chanakya Kumar Barman, 43, was a constable of traffic police of Dhaka north, Nurul Haque, a sub-inspector of Banani Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The accident took place around 8:45pm, the SI said adding the victim was taking to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
