Rail communication of Sylhet with Dhaka and Chattogram was restored this evening after nearly six hours of disruption following the derailment of a train near Kulaura Railway Station in Moulvibazar.
The train service resumed around 5:50pm after a relief train salvaged the derailed carriages, our Moulvibazar correspondent reports quoting Mohibur Rahman, station master of Kulaura Railway Station.

The Jayantika Express, which was coming to Dhaka from Sylhet, derailed at the entrance of Kulaura Railway Station after two of its wheels got detached around 12:30pm.
Around 15-20 passengers of the train sustained injuries as they tried to get off the train in a hurry following the incident, said Station Master Mohibur Rahman.
