Brahmanbaria train tragedy took place due to the negligence of Loco master, assistant loco master and guard of intercity train Turna Nishita Express.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan today said this based on the findings of three probe reports.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. “The accident took place due to their negligence,” the minister said while addressing a press briefing at Railway Bhaban in Dhaka this afternoon to reveal the findings of the reports submitted by the three probe committees formed to investigate the tragedy.
Eighteen people were killed and scores injured as Dhaka-bound Turna Nishita from Chattogram rammed Chattogram-bound Udayan Express from Sylhet at Mondobhag Railway Station on early hours of November 12.
