Water transport workers’ strike from tomorrow

Water transport workers across the country will go on work abstention from tomorrow to press home their 11-point demand.

Bangladesh Water Transport Workers Federation called the strike for an indefinite period, according to a press release issued today.

The 11-point demand includes implementation of their new wage announced by the government in 2016.

The federation leaders urged to the government and the water transport owners to take measures to meet their demands, the release added.
