PM strongly condemns London Bridge attack
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has strongly condemned the barbaric attack in London which killed six people and injured many others.
“I am deeply shocked at the barbaric attacks in London Bridge and Borough Market of the central London, which killed six innocent lives and wounding scores,” she said in a condolence message to British Prime Minister Theresa May today.
“We strongly condemn such mindless act of cowardice. We stand in solidarity with the people of the UK,” the prime minister said in the condolence message.
The Bangladesh premier extended deepest condolences to her British counterpart and the people of the UK. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families at this difficult hour,” she added.
Khaleda condemns attack
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has also condemned the attack.
