RU student caught cheating in admission test

A former student of Rajshahi University was caught giving proxy test for another candidate during the university’s admission test today.

The detainee was Munsur Rahman, a former History student of the university and son of Nizam Uddin from Rajshahi, our campus reporter reports.

He was detained from Ismail Hossain Sirajee Building while sitting for the exam on behalf of applicant Al-Amin in the B-2 Unit test, Proctor Prof Lutfor Rahman said.

Local Executive Magistrate Mst Rony Khatun sentenced him to a year in jail or a fine of Tk 30,000 after primary interrogation.
