SSC candidates must reach centres 30mins before exam starts
The examinees of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent exams will have to enter their respective exam halls half an hour before the tests begin.
Education ministry took the decision today to prevent copying or any other forms of unfair means in the upcoming exams, according to a press release of the ministry.
The candidates who will fail to reach the exam halls within the stipulated time will not be allowed to sit for the test, it said.
In today’s meeting, which was presided over by the Secretary of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Division Md Sohrab Hossain, it was also discussed whether the internet connection in the vicinity of test centres to be cut off for sometime before the test.
Use of smartphones and any other electronic devices will be strictly prohibited.
