SSC student, youth held for question leak in Ctg

Rapid Action Battalion has arrested two alleged members of a group involved in question paper leak, including an SSC examinee, in Raozan upazila of Chittagong.

Md Imran, 18, and Nurul Afser Sabuj, 20, were arrested in Jagannath Hat Bazar area, Lt Colonel Ashequr Rahman last night, deputy commander Rab-7, told The Daily Star today.

“Of them, Imran is the SSC examinee from Raozan Shayama Choran High School while Emran studied up to class eight,” the Rab official said.

 “We gleaned more information regarding question leak from the duo and we are verifying that information,” said the RAB officials.

“Both are active members of a question leaking syndicate and they had spread almost all the leaked questions of the ongoing SSC examination through social media,” he added.

A case was lodged in this connection.
