Sundarbans robbers’ surrender stayed on bad weather

Rapid Action Battalion today postponed a programme at Mongla upazila of Bagerhat where a gang of robbers were scheduled to formally surrender in presence of Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan.

“The programme has been postponed as the minister could not travel due to the inclement weather,” Sharif Mahmud Apu, public relations officer to the home minister, told The Daily Star in the morning.
