United Nations’ military advisor Lt Gen Carlos Humberto Loitey today lauded Bangladesh in its effort towards global peacekeeping mission.

He extended the appreciation to Public Administration’s Senior Secretary Md Mozammel Haque Khan in a meeting at New York, says a press release of Bangladesh’s permanent mission to the UN.

Lt Gen Loitey congratulated Bangladesh on ranking second in peacekeeping contribution and hoped that the trend will continue in the future.

Secretary Khan assured of continuing Bangladeshi efforts towards peacekeeping and urged to ensure security of the Bangladeshi peacekeeping forces.
