Savar police arrested two youths last night on charge of raping a housewife.

Arrestees Jewel,19, and Shimul,19, are the cousins of the 19-year-old victim, our Savar correspondent reports quoting police.  

The alleged raped incident took place in Mollahpara area under Savar municipality yesterday morning, according to a case filed by the victim's husband with Savar Police Station last night.

Jewel called the victim to his house, where he and Shimul raped her around 11:00am, said Saiful Islam, inspector (investigation) of the police station.

The victim was sent to One Stop Crisis Centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for medical test today, he added.
