Covid-19 certificate from Central Police Hospital required for cops to go abroad

The government has designated the Central Police Hospital at Rajarbagh in Dhaka for Covid-19 certificates for police personnel who wish to travel abroad.

Policemen who travel abroad have to get a Covid-19 test certificate from the hospital, Department of Health Services of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said in a circular today.

As per the previous decision of the government, the certificate of Covid-19 tests has been made compulsory for travelers going abroad by air from July 23.

As per the rules, Covid-19 test samples of those wishing to go abroad cannot be collected before 72 hours of departure, and arrangements have to be made for delivery of reports 24 hours before departure. During this time the traveler must remain in isolation.
