Earlier today, on January 18, the prominent Kolkata based writer Sujan Dasgupta was found dead in his South Kolkata house.

He was reportedly found lying on the floor of his bedroom, according to the police.

On Wednesday morning, the writer's house help came to the house. Upon finding no response, the woman called the security guards, who also failed to open the door.
