Court orders DNA test of Dhaka attack militants
A Dhaka court today ordered for DNA testing of the militants found involved in the gruesome Dhaka cafe attack of July 1.
Metropolitan Magistrate Md Nur Nabi passed the order after Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit Inspector Humayun Kabir moved a plea in this regard.
The court ordered authorities concerned for DNA test of the clothes and faeces of the militants in a laboratory.
On July 1, armed gunmen stormed at Holey Artisan Bakery at Road 79 in Gulshan-2 of Dhaka. They killed 20 hostages and two police officers in the 12-hour-long siege.
