Faraaz’s body taken to grandfather’s home

The body of Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, who was brutally killed along with 19 other hostages in a militant attack at a Dhaka café last Friday, was taken to his grandfather’s house at Gulshan this afternoon.

Following a state homage paid to the victims at Army Stadium in Dhaka’s Banani, Faraaz’s body was taken to  the residence of his maternal’s grandfather Latifur Rahman, chairman of Transcom Group, around 12:45pm, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

The namaz-e-janaza of Faraaz, son of Simeen and Waquer Hossain, will be held at Gulshan Azad Mosque today after Asr prayers, the daily adds.

Earlier around 10:00am, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid her homage to the victims at the stadium. 

Faraaz was killed on Friday night when terrorists attacked the Holey Artisan Bakery and Restaurant in the city.

The body of Faraaz Ayaaz Hossain, who was brutally killed along with 19 other hostages in a militant attack at a Dhaka café last Friday, was taken to his grandfather’s house at Gulshan this afternoon.
