Dhirendra Nath Mazumder appointed DG of Bangladesh Railway

Dhirendra Nath Mazumder, additional director general (infrastructure), of Bangladesh Railway has been appointed as director general of the state-run transport agency.

Railways Ministry issued a circular in this regard today. 

The order will come into action immediately, it said.

Following the order, Dhirendra took charge today, Bangladesh Railway officials said.

He replaced Md Shamsuzzaman as DG.
