Editorial
The weather can’t seem to make up its mind. By the time you’re reading this, winter might be gone, but whatever it is right now, it is pleasant in Dhaka. We might boast about six seasons, but it’s really hard to differentiate most of them unless you keep accurate tabs on what’s being sold in the vegetable markets. We can thank our ol’ friend pollution. But a couple thousand miles away from here, Australia is burning on a scale never seen before. While the climate crisis affects the entire planet, more and more disasters are edging closer to our shores, and yet apart from news cycle headlines about topping lists for ‘Most Polluted City’, nothing else can seem to generate a conversation. Alarming is exactly how I want to sound.
