After 6 years, Poraho releases a banger
Rock band Poraho has recently released their latest song, "Obhijog". The popular act, known for their two albums and cult-hit "Naam Chara Gaan", are looking to get back in the mainstream scene after multiple line-up changes and absences.
"We have been through our ups and downs," says A K Rahul, the drummer of the band. "It is unfortunate that our previous releases were pirated, reuploaded and misused – we didn't make a dime out of them."
"Obhijog" has been written by the band's vocalist, Masrur Rumman. "We are elated by the response that our fans have given us," says Rahul. The track has crossed 20,000 views on YouTube as of yet.
Going with current trends, the band has also released a lo-fi version of the song, produced by Mashuq Haque.
The band has also let The Daily Star know that they plan to release a special music video of "Naam Chara Gaan" soon.
The band's current line-up is:
Vocals : Masrur Rumman
Guitars : Pritom Arefin , Montasir Mamun Shopno
Bass : Reshad Rafiq Shams
Drums : A.K. Rahul
