The song, written by Niaz Ahmed Anshu and composed and sung by Bachchu, is part of a collection he had been working on before his death in 2018. This release is particularly significant as it coincides with "Band Music Day," a day Ayub Bachchu himself initiated to celebrate the genre he championed.

Bachchu's foundation has undertaken the task of releasing his previously unheard track. "'Inbox' is just the beginning, " said Abdullah Al Masud, LRB's guitarist, revealing that more unreleased songs will follow, and they welcome sponsorships to help make this happen. The music video for "Inbox" has been directed by Tanvir Tareq and will be available across platforms like YouTube, iTunes, and Spotify.

LRB (Love Runs Blind), which Bachchu formed in 1991, became one of Bangladesh's most influential rock bands, but after his death, the band's journey came to an official close. Masud acknowledged that continuing without Bachchu felt impossible, given the standard he set. The band's legacy, however, lives on through initiatives like the Ayub Bachchu Foundation.

Ayub Bachchu, born in Chattogram in 1962, began his music career in the 1970s with bands like Feelings (now Nagar Baul) and Souls before creating LRB, which went on to achieve iconic status. His contributions to Bangladeshi music, both through his band and his solo career, remain unparalleled, and his upcoming song release is sure to stir emotions across the nation .
