Ayub Bachchu’s wife Chandana partakes in 'Remembering Ayub Bachchu'
On the occasion of rock icon Ayub Bachchu's birth anniversary tomorrow (August 16), his wife Ferdous Akhter Chandana has shared her memories of Ayub Bachchu, their married life and her initiative to preserve the memories of him in a show "Remembering Ayub Bachchu" on Kolahol Communication's digital platform. The show will be hosted by Tanvir Tarek. The guitarist of LRB, Abdullah Al Masud, was also present on the show.
Chandana and Masud spoke about the initiative to commemorate the artist and create a foundation in his name.
"I have stayed out of the media all my life. I don't understand it. I don't even want to understand this media life. I am just working to preserve Bachchu's music and memory on behalf of my two children," said Chandana.
The host of the show, Tanvir Tareq, said, "I always talk about Bachchu Bhai in most of my shows. In this show, his wife has talked about him for the first time in front of the camera. We have tried to discuss his songs and many more things. I hope the audience will enjoy it."
The first episode of the series, 'Remembering Ayub Bachchu', will be aired tomorrow at 10 pm on the official Facebook and YouTube channel of Tanvir Tareq. The program will also be available on a music app named Independent.
