Bassbaba Sumon featured in Bass Player Magazine

Rock music legend and frontman of Aurthohin Bassbaba Sumon was featured in Bass Player Magazine. He is the first Bangladeshi artiste to be interviewed by the renowned international platform. The musician announced the news on his Facebook account.

"During my childhood days, I had this unquenchable desire to learn bass guitar but I didn't have the chance to do that. I used to read some International guitar magazines at New Market among which my favourite magazine was 'Bass Player Magazine'. Unfortunately, we didn't use to get these magazines much in the country. Some of our friends would instantly grab the old issues of the magazine if we found one at the book shop," the post read.

"This Eid is really special for me as I was featured in the latest issue of 'Bass Player Magazine'. This magazine holds a special place in my heart as it was my favourite childhood magazine.  Earlier on, my name appeared in the magazine through other people's articles. However, this is the first time that they have published a Bangladeshi artiste's interview in the magazine," stated the post.

"This is such a huge achievement for me. I really couldn't imagine that the young boy who couldn't even afford a bass guitar would one day be featured in an international magazine. I am truly the luckiest person in this world to have so many wonderful fans and love from my admirers," the post concluded.
