Blackpink’s agency responds to Rosé’s drug abuse rumour
YG Entertainment has responded strongly against rumours accusing Blackpink member, Rosé, of alleged drug abuse. The rumours started when former Burberry chief creative officer Riccardo Tisci posted photos with her online. Their photo sparked several outrages among netizens, including claims of drugs in the background of the photo. Riccardo has since deleted the post.
In response, YG Entertainment has issued a response against the false rumours, saying that "legal action" will be taken against people spreading it. They have also claimed that the agency will also be monitoring who partakes in spreading rumours that violate human rights and defame their agency, warning of strong legal action with no leniency.
Meanwhile, Blackpink is getting ready to perform in the 2023 Coachella music festival, headlining today and on April 22. They will be joined by Charli XCX, Labrinth, Rosalia and many more at the festival.
