BTS's Jung Kook tops Billboard Hot 100 with ‘Seven’
BTS' Jung Kook's "Seven," featuring Latto, takes the No 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart. This triumph makes Jung Kook the second member of BTS to lead the chart, following Jimin's "Like Crazy," which debuted at No. 1 in April.
Moreover, "Seven" marks Latto's first-ever Hot 100 No. 1, adding to the celebration of this phenomenal collaboration.
The soaring success of "Seven" on Hot 100 can be attributed to its impressive streaming numbers, with 21.9 million streams, 6.4 million in airplay audience, and 153,000 combined digital and CD singles sold from July 14 to July 20, as reported by Luminate.
Notably, "Seven" debuts at No. 2 on the Digital Song Sales chart and No. 4 on Streaming Songs. Furthermore, it makes its mark at No. 30 on Adult Pop Airplay and No. 33 on Pop Airplay.
Jung Kook's journey on the Hot 100 chart has been extraordinary, as he earns his first No. 1, along with his first-ever top 10 placement. Prior to this achievement, he had two charted songs in 2022, with Charlie Puth's "Left and Right," featuring Jung Kook, peaking at No. 22 in July, and his solo track "Stay Alive" spending a week on the list at No. 95 in February.
