Cardi B tweets about child predators after Dalai Lama’s viral video

American rapper, Cardi B recently posted a series of tweets, where she reminded everyone to be vigilant about child predators. This was in reference to the viral clip of the Dalai Lama asking a young boy to "suck his tongue", which the rapper clarified. However, she did not directly mention the 87-year-old spiritual leader, only choosing to refer to the viral video.

In her tweets, Cardi B, who is a mother of two children, wrote, "This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children. Her tweets seemed to divide Twitter users, with trolls and haters choosing to poke fun at her.

Cardi B, would go on to defend herself in further tweets, saying, "I don't gotta watch my words. I know exactly what I mean. From the time you start potty training your kids, you should tell them, 'Don't let nobody touch your privates, enter the bathroom with you and don't keep no secrets away from mummy'."

She also shared a screenshot of a news article about the Dalai Lama's apology.
