Chirkutt unveiled a new song yesterday, titled "Jana Holo Na," which was shared on their Facebook page. The track features lyrics, melody, and vocals by Sharmin Sultana Sumi, with music and sound production by Pavel Areen.

However, With the release of the song, speculation has arisen that Jahid Nirab may be considering leaving the band to concentrate on his solo career.

Chirkutt has revealed their intention to release a new album next month, with its songs currently being in progress. The album is tentatively named "Pendulum," so this title may be changed. The band plans to include 10 tracks in the album. They produced the new song "Jana Holo Na" while working on the album.

Regarding this endeavour, the band's leader Sharmin Sultana Sumi told Ajker Patrika, "Chirkutt consistently releases new songs for the audience. In line with this tradition, we created 'Jana Holo Na.' This song is not connected to the upcoming album. Since its release, numerous fans and well-wishers have shared their positive feedback and extended their good wishes."

Meanwhile, rumours about Jahid Nirob's departure from Chirkutt had been circulating for some time. His last performance with the band was on December 21 at a concert held at Dhaka's Army Stadium. Notably, he was absent from the Victory Day concert in London on December 16.

When asked about this, Sumi said, "Jahid Nirob informed Pavel that he wants to pursue solo work and has many plans related to music. He also wants to create a music school. He is a talented musician."

"He has expressed his desire to leave the band to pursue a solo career, and we support his decision. Chirkutt is a band, and it's natural for members to come and go as part of its journey."

For the past few years, Jahid Nirob has been working on building his solo career alongside his involvement with the band. He has been creating music for various advertisements, web content, and films. Although he chose not to comment on Chirkutt, he shared details about his current projects.

He revealed that he is currently working on the music for Amitabh Reza's web-series "Bohemian Ghora" and has also provided vocals for one of its songs. Additionally, he has ongoing work in film and advertising. Recently, he started running a music school, with many plans in place for its future.

In November 2016, 14 years after its formation, founding member Pintu Ghosh left Chirkutt. At that time, the band announced that Pintu had been respectfully allowed to pursue a solo career through mutual discussions. Last year, a similar reason was given for Emon Chowdhury's exit from the band.
