Even with quite the packed schedule, popular band Chirkutt have also been busy producing songs for numerous films. Previously, the audience were mesmerised by Chirkutt's "Kanamachi", featured in the film, "Television"; "Duniya" featured in "Aynabaji"; "Ahare Jibon" from "Doob", and "Boye Jao Nokkhotro" from "Beauty Circus".

Recently, the band finished recording a new song titled, "Robot", for Dipankar Dipon's directorial film, "Antarjal".

The song has been written by the vocalist of Chirkutt, Sharmin Sultana Sumi. Taking to social media, the vocalist shared, "I have just returned from the recording of one of our heartfelt songs. Be it night or day, spending time with my band always makes me feel newly alive. This is a strange emotion which I have somehow never gotten tired of in the last 21 years. The good news is, a new song for the film will be joining our two-decade-long escapade, which I hope will be good."

This time, fans will also get to see Chirkutt featured in the musical video for the song.

Chirkutt will soon be leaving for a tour in the US, which starts from May 10. This will count as the band's biggest tour to date and it will last until June 27.
