British rock band Coldplay, in partnership with ticketing platform BookMyShow, has announced a fourth concert date in India's Ahmedabad for their "Music of the Spheres World Tour 2025," citing overwhelming demand from fans.

The newly added show will be held on January 25, 2025, at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. Ticket sales for the event will commence on November 16 at 12pm (IST) via BookMyShow.

This additional concert follows previous shows announced in Mumbai at the DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21. This tour marks Coldplay's largest-ever stadium performance in India, expected to host 100,000 fans.

Anil Makhija, COO of Live Entertainment at BookMyShow, noted the effort put into securing India's largest venue to accommodate the high demand: "Bringing another show to life took immense effort from our teams and partners alike, and we are thrilled for the chance to make this happen for Coldplay's fans."

Coldplay's announcement also comes amid an investigation by the Enforcement Directorate into reports of unauthorised ticket sales for Coldplay's and Diljit Dosanjh's concerts, which were sold out within minutes. To mitigate this, BookMyShow is implementing a virtual queue system, aiming to ensure a fair ticketing process for all fans.

Produced by BookMyShow Live and global promoter Live Nation, the "Music of the Spheres World Tour" in India aims to bring one of Coldplay's largest shows to date to Indian fans.
