Tahsan Khan has a storied career in Bangladesh's showbiz industry, being successful in both music and acting. However, the musician is facing controversy regarding his latest song, 'Harai Bohudur', which was a duet with Shusmita Anis.

The screenplay of the song's music video has allegedly been copied from BTS member RM's song, "Wild Flower". BTS fans and even the Korean media have spoken up about it, in various articles.

The video, which was done by Flybot Studios, was directed by Aga Nahiyan Ahmed.

Tahsan, when he realised what was going on, immediately removed the video from his socials. "I had no idea that the song's screenplay was plagiarised," said the artiste to The Daily Star. "It completely ruined my day when I got to know about it, and I immediately reprimanded the video makers. I made them apologise not only to me, but to the fans as well".

This year was supposed to be a celebration of Tahsan's 20 years in the industry, which was foiled by this mishap. "This is very demoralising for me, that too on a song in which I collaborated with Minar. This is a person that I did two albums for, more than a decade back – it was supposed to be a heartfelt moment".

Even though Tahsan is clearly upset about the matter, the director refused to apologise to BTS fans in his conversation with The Daily Star. "There is nothing to apologise about here," said Aga Nahiyan Ahmed. "I did not make any mistakes. I am inspired by BTS, and this could be seen as an inspiration. We have already reuploaded the music video, cutting the 'questionable' parts. It is in no way a copy."

The Daily Star also reached out to Shusmita Anis, whose statement will be published soon.
