Jungkook to collaborate with Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran for new album
BTS star Jungkook is all set to release his first solo album "Golden", which will comprise entirely English songs. The "Seven" singer will be collaborating with renowned musicians Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes.
On Monday, Jungkook revealed the tracklist for "Golden".
According to the track list, the album will include "Closer to You", a collaboration with Major Lazer. The golden maknae will also work with DJ Snake on his song "Please Don't Change". Additionally, he is set to collaborate with Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, and David Steward for "Yes or No", "Hate You", "Somebody", "Too Sad To Dance", "Shot Glass of Tears", and the title track "Standing Next to You".
The album will contain a total of 12 tracks. Jungkook's prior solo songs, "Seven" (explicit and clean versions) featuring Latto and 3D featuring Jack Harlow, are also included. "Golden" is set to be released on November 3 at 1 pm KST.
In terms of the album, according to Soompi, BTS' agency earlier stated that "Golden" is inspired by the golden moments of Jungkook, the golden maknae (youngest member) of BTS and a solo artiste.
They stated that Jungkook will be delivering spectacular stage performances and making numerous appearances accompanying the release of "Golden".
