Nancy’s National Award stolen

Renowned singer Nancy, who is the recipient of the National Award for her song "Duidike Boshbash" in the film "Projapoti", was subject to a crime.

Her award was stolen from her home, and the artiste has lodged a complaint at the Gulshan Police Station. Nancy herself confirmed the news to The Daily Star.

"When I was sorting out a few things in my room, I noticed that my National Award, along with a few jewelleries, were stolen", she said. "A house-help of mine left a few days before Eid, and there is another person working to take care of my youngest daughter – these two people are siblings as well."

She hopes that the situation will be resolved soon.
