Oyshee experiences magical holud ceremony
National award winning singer Oyshee experienced a truly unique and memorable holud ceremony, marking a special milestone in her life. What made this occasion different was the presence of her second family, the TM family of musicians, who organised a distinct halud ceremony on Wednesday.
The evening commenced with an emotional touch as a letter from Oyshee's late father was read aloud. Overwhelmed with emotions, Oyshee couldn't hold back her tears. However, the atmosphere quickly transformed into joy and laughter as musician Parvez Sazzad appeared on stage, delivering a wonderful performance with Luipa. The stage came alive with captivating performances from Anika, Luipa, Turja, Nabila, Sajal, Pooja, Nadia Dora, Niloy, and many others.

Oyshee's fellow musicians embraced their inner dancers, showcasing their talent in a lighthearted performance. Oyshee and her groom, Zilani, also joined in the dance, adding to the infectious energy of the moment. The evening continued with a delightful dinner, followed by Kaushik Hossain Taposh taking the stage with his guitar. Each artiste took turns performing alongside Kaushik, creating a harmonious blend of music. Oyshee, with her melodious voice, also mesmerised the audience with her heartfelt songs.
Expressing her gratitude, Oyshee said, "After my parents, Kaushik Hossain Taposh bhaiya, and Munny bhabhi raised me in the music industry like a child. Our TM family is a tight-knit circle of musicians who support and inspire each other. I am incredibly thankful to the TM family and Gaanbangla for creating such a joyous moment during our gaye halud ceremony."
The event was graced by the presence of the groom's parents, Oyshee's mother, Nasima Mannan, Kaushik Hossain Taposh-Farzana Munny, the band legend Hamin Ahmed, and numerous other members from both families who came together to bless Oyshee and Zilani.
After a two-and-a-half-year journey of friendship and companionship, Oyshee and Zilani exchanged rings last April. Jilani completed his studies and joined a pharmaceutical company, all while pursuing his interests in acting and modeling.
The gaaye halud ceremony not only symbolised the union of two souls but also showcased the deep bond and support within the TM family of musicians. It was a joyous and memorable occasion that will forever hold a special place in Oyshee's heart as she embarks on this new chapter in her life, guided by the love and blessings of her two families.
