In a landmark moment of their 29-year journey, iconic Bangladeshi band Shironamhin is set to tour Canada for the very first time. While the band has graced stages across the globe, this will mark their long-awaited live debut in Canada.

If all goes according to plan, the tour—organised by Mixtape—will kick off in Toronto in September 2025.

Band leader Ziaur Rahman shared that 2025 is shaping up to be a dynamic year, with several international tour offers currently in the pipeline.

Continuing their musical voyage from the "Batighar" album, Shironamhin recently released a new track, "Priyotoma", which has already garnered over 1.5 million views on YouTube within just a month.

Reflecting on their recent European tour, composer Kazi Ahmed Shafin said, "We were fascinated by the culture and natural beauty of the countries we visited last year. We hope this year's tours will be just as enriching."

Vocalist Sheikh Ishtiaque added, "These tours offer us invaluable experiences and creative inspiration."

According to sources, the band has four new tracks ready for release, complete with music videos produced under their own direction across various locations in Thailand and India.

One of the upcoming songs, "Kotodur", holds special significance—it delves into the emotional lives of Bangladeshi expatriates and the broader theme of remittance.

Additionally, a sequel to their popular track "Ei Obelay" has been completed and is awaiting release, pending sponsorship support.

The band is eager to share these new projects with fans in the near future.
