Souls returns with third track of the year ‘Jodi Dekho’
Renowned music band Souls had recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, and commemorating this event, the music band had promised to deliver fifty news songs to the audience. Keeping that promise, the band is now back with a new track titled "Jodi Dekho".
Speaking about the song, Partha Barua shared with the media that the band had created this song with the Sydney resident Bangladeshi artiste Iftekhar Sujon, many years back during a show in Australia.
Patha added that due to the song being made during a casual hangout, and being the first song of their new "Addabaji" series, they had also named it "Addabaji-1".
Partha Barua and his bandmates in Souls are already working with musicians from different parts of the world for their upcoming tracks and "Jodi Dekho" is their first production on this project.
After "Kita Vaisab" and "Rickshaw", "Jodi Dekho" counts as the third track of Souls' fifty years celebration. The song was released yesterday on the band's official Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Earlier in June, Souls revamped its brand logo and announced a two-year plan to commemorate its 50th anniversary.
"We aim to release a total of 50 songs during this period, comprising 20 new tracks and 30 re-releases of our timeless classics," said the bass guitarist of the band, Maruf Hasan Real.
