Stars attend King Charles’s coronation concert
On Sunday, the second day after the coronation ceremony of King Charles and his wife Camilla, a grand star-studded coronation concert was held at the Windsor castle. The programme featured marvellous performances from renowned artistes including Katy Perry, Andrea Bocelli, and Lionel Richie, amongst others.
The musical performance was witnessed by over 20,000 audiences at the west terrace of Windsor castle. Moreover, the mixed programme also featured a mesmerising presentation by the renowned British Ballet company, Royal Ballet, alongside performances from Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, and British band Take That.
Renowned actor Tom Cruise also made an appearance at the concert via a recorded video. The "Top Gun" star stated in the video message, "Pilot to pilot. Your Majesty, you can be my wingman any time."
Paying homage to his father's dedication to serve, Prince William soon took to the stage. He shared that the core message of the coronation ceremony is dedication towards service, and King Charles's first words after his coronation yesterday were also his dedication to 'serve and not be served'.
