'Wish I Could Sue Her': Falguni Pathak lashes out against Neha Kakkar
Singer Falguni Pathak took a dig at Neha Kakkar for remixing her iconic song "Maine Payal Hai Chhankai." The remix has received flak on social media, as fans accused Neha of ruining their childhood songs with unnecessary auto tunes.
According to local media, Falguni stated that neither the label company nor Neha Kakkar tried to reach out to her. While asked whether she is planning on taking the legal route, the 'Dandiya Queen' retorted that "I wish I could, but the rights are not with me."
Falguni Pathak also re-shared multiple stories of fans who demanded a ban on Neha Kakkar on her Instagram story. One social media user wrote," Sorry to our childhood memories that are being ruined with this cringe." While another user wrote, "Please someone ban these autotune singers and their remakes."
Falguni Pathak is overwhelmed by fans' love and appreciation for the original song.
"I feel overwhelmed and touched on receiving so much love from all over for the song, so had to share their feelings," the singer added.
"O Sajna", which was released under the banner of T-Series, stars Neha Kakkar, Priyank Sharma, and Dhanashree Verma in the music video. Tanishk Bagchi produced the music for the song, while Jaani wrote the lyrics. The original music composer and lyricist was Lalit Sen.
