Netflix's limited series "Adolescence" has broken into the platform's all-time most popular English-language TV list, landing at No 9 with 96.7 million views in just 17 days. The drama surpasses "Stranger Things 3" (94.8M) and pushes "Bridgerton" Season 2 (93.8M) off the chart entirely.

The current record-holder for most-watched series overall remains "Squid Game", while "Wednesday" holds the top spot for English-language shows.

From March 24–30, "Adolescence" again topped the English TV chart with 30.4 million views and appeared in the Top 10 across all 93 countries where Netflix publishes rankings.

Meanwhile, Shonda Rhimes' "The Residence" came second with 8.8 million views, followed by Netflix's reality series "Million Dollar Secret" with 3.7 million.
