Amitabh Bachchan injured on KBC set, rushed to hospital
Amitabh Bachchan has recently encountered an accident while shooting for his popular game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati". The actor shared the news on his official blog today. He mentioned that he had to be stitched, to control the bleeding.
The blog stated that a metal piece pierced through his left calf, and he was immediately rushed to the hospital.
"A jutting piece of metal sliced through my left calf, and managed to cut the vein. The vein, when cut spurted out the 'red' uncontrollably. However, I still had the nerves to go to the doctor and get myself stitched at the hospital," Amitabh Bachchan wrote.
The eminent actor shared that the doctor has advised him not to work out on the treadmill.
"The medical team has instructed me not to stand for too long, or move too much. Walking on treadmill is strictly prohibited for the time being. At times the satisfaction of the extreme may bring the joys or the griefs of existence. However, extremes do not last, they either perish or leave an indelible mark at strategic places on the body or bodies. So help me God!," added the actor.
The actor posted some pictures on Twitter which showed him running towards the sets with bandage on his left legs from the sets of "Kaun Banega Crorepati".
"Running, striding and jogging on to work. Love you and please do shower me with your love and prayers," the post read.
The Bollywood icon, who has turned 80 this month, was showered with good wishes on his birthday on October 11. As part of the celebrations of his birthday, the tickets price of Amitabh's latest film, "Goodbye", cost only Rs 80 in Mumbai.
